Over the last two years, the 2002R has built itself up to be one of New Balance's most coveted silhouettes thanks to a handful of collaborations, material experimentations and the distinctive distressing of the 'Protection Pack' makeups.

Here, the sneaker forgoes all of the aforementioned as it sports a simple navy makeup throughout the entirety of its mesh and suede panelled upper, complete with hits of dark grey and silver. The ACTEVA LITE-cushioned midsole appears in an off-white hue, although leaning towards more of a yellowed finish towards the rear, while N-ergy technology offers its shock absorption via a pitch black outsole.
